Staying hydrated is essential, especially with warmer temperatures quickly approaching (or already here like they are in Phoenix). Personally, I love water and never get bored. However, many clients and friends have told me I am not the norm. I also understand that even for those who do like water, it can get boring. I developed 6 recipes using fruit and herbs, with no added sugars or sweeteners of any kind, so those who want variety or delicious ways to enjoy water.
The great thing about using fruit and herbs is, not only do they taste great, they are packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Each recipe is designed for 16 ounces of water. If you decide to make a pitcher, adjust as needed. Place fruit and herbs at the bottom of your cup and muddle with a spoon, top with ice then add water. During the hot summer months, I strongly suggest adding a pinch of sea salt to each glass to keep your electrolytes balanced.

My favorite drink this time of year is made in a quart jar: fill about an inch to an inch and a half from the bottom with premade ginger root tea (fresh ginger root, not a tea bag) add the juice of 1/2 lemon …. I put the half lemon in after I squeeze the juice, 2 sprigs of crushed mint leaves still on the stem, fill with ice and water. If you made the ginger tea too strong you can add a tsp of raw honey…. yummy summer drink!
And excellent for tummy issues and digestion as well.
Yum! Thank you for sharing Brandi!
Wow! Strawberry Lemon is my favorite flavor! 🙂 I would totally try all the flavors! 🙂
Thanks for sharing.
Strawberry lemon is my top favorite too. The blackberry sage is a close second though!
I’ve been really wanting to start making infused waters for summer so I’m definitely bookmarking!! Thanks for this!
My absolute favorite new concoction is pure pomegranate juice, San Pellegrino sparkling water and a splash of lime! Fruit infused water was so essential when I gave up soda over a year ago. Now, I’ve recently reduced my caffeine intake and need to hydrate further to stave off the headaches! My new concoction has been a life saver!
This sounds fantastic! Definitely will be trying your recipe.
I love drinking water, but I never drink water in these combinations. Can’t wait to try it out. Thank you for sharing!
These are so pretty! I used to put strawberries in my water and I loved it! I’ll have to try these out!
Super fresh, and perfect for Spring. 🙂 🙂
We’re the same – I have no problems drinking regular water though I don’t drink nearly enough! Perhaps if I make them a bit more exciting with these additions I’d drink more 🙂
I also find using a straw helps me drink more water.
I have been wanting to try something like this for quite a while. I love water, but worry I’d ruin it haha.
I’m saving this for this simmer, watermelon rosemary and cucumber mint sound amazing!!!
They are all really good.
These are great combinations. I am a big fan of muddled strawberries. These are so nice to dress up a pitcher of water when you have guests. The kids feel like they are getting something special, not just boring water.
Definitely! I’m a fan of making food and drinks looks pretty 🙂
I agree!
It’s summer in the Philippines and these recipes are great to help us stay hydrated and healthy! Will definitely try these at home! Thanks!
Let me know which one is your favorite!
Thanks for sharing! I love infused waters! Definitely going to try these!
Fruit infused water is so good during spring & summer. I’m gonna try the watermelon & rosemary, seems so original! Thanks for the idea!
These recipes are just on time for the upcoming summer! Thank you!
My pleasure!
These ALL sound great. I don’t mind drinking water, but something different is always nice. And I think it will be something nice to have in the fridge on the hot summer days like we have here in Australia!
