When it comes to health, it is really easy to forget that there is more than the areas that are commonly talked about. Your general health is usually at the front and center of conversations when it comes to discussing ways to be healthy, but that isn’t all there is to this. Your body is made up of lots of little complex parts, and you need to be taking care of all of them if you want to be as healthy as possible. The first area is your mouth. We know that people talk about the dentist all the time, but how many of you actually go? There is a large percent of the population that has a fear of the dentist, and this stops them from attending appointments, even though it is what is best for them. If your tooth hurts, you might just grin and bear it, hoping that it will go away. But, you wouldn’t do this if you had hurt your leg and it wouldn’t stop hurting, you would go to the doctor. Unless you want all of your teeth to end up falling out and to be left with just gums, we recommend you take as much care as possible with your oral hygiene. 


Another thing that you should think about is your hearing health. Studies suggest that everyone is going to experience some sort of hearing loss throughout their life. This is because the older we get, the wear on our ears over time is too great, and you will start to lose your hearing. Having said that though, there are things that you can do to delay the process. An example of this would be using earplugs whenever you are around loud noises. So if you go to a concert, put your earplugs in. They might not be the coolest things to wear, but they will protect you from the sound, while also allowing you to still hear.


When was the last time that you had your eyes tested? Do you get headaches frequently? Do you have trouble seeing numbers and letters at a distance that you would not have had trouble with before? Do you feel as though there could be something wrong with your eyes? If so, then you should head straight to your opticians and book yourself in for an appointment. They will be able to determine if something is wrong, or if you simply need some glasses.
