This cake batter protein smoothie recipe was given to me from a family member and I am forever grateful for it! It is so nice to have a healthy fix for the sweet tooth that isn’t junk. It is the perfect workout recovery meal or lunch on the go, and it’s truly healthy!

Most Cake Batter  smoothies out there have some complicated ingredients. Many of them have added sweeteners, cottage cheese, and other interesting ingredients. That just doesn’t work for me, as you know.

For this recipe all you need is a sweet vanilla protein powder like Jay Robb’s Vanilla Egg White Protein Powder (affiliate link), a banana, unsweetened vanilla almond milk**, cinnamon, and ice. Sprinkles are completely optional but fun to add a little to the top. You can’t get any easier than that! Toss everything in your blender and enjoy.

**If you can’t have nuts, hemp milk or cows milk with a half teaspoon of vanilla extract will work as well.

This recipe is casein, dairy, soy free and can easily be made paleo, vegan, and nut free.

Hi! Lots of new faces around here so I thought I w Hi! Lots of new faces around here so I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm Marian. Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who specializes in helping people reach their best health despite any complex health condition.

I love food. Food is a social and emotional experience that everyone can enjoy no matter what they have going on when I'm on their team.

Along with loving food and helping people eat, I love my family. Blended family with 4 kids keeps life crazy busy and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We are pretty big fans of camping, shooting, traveling off the beaten path in our land cruiser, and playing music.

I also enjoy lounging by the pool with my friends, hiking, and thrift shopping.

Welcome! I love interacting with you so I hope you'll leave comments and PM often!
